Speaking as a long time resident in this Collegeville Post Office zip code it's a great area to live in, raise a family and work! Located between King of Prussia and Reading and 45 minutes from Center City Philadelphia, zip code 19426 is about 34 square miles with Collegeville Boro almost at the center. It includes most of Perkiomen Valley School District (Collegeville Boro, Trappe, Schwenksville, Perkiomen Township) portions of Methacton School District in Lower Providence and Worcester Townships as well a portion of Springford School District located in Upper Providence Township. Ursinus College is located in Collegeville Boro and with an active Main Street resurgence, there are dining, cultural as well as many educational opportunities right in the Boro.

Pfizer, Galaxo, Dow and Iron Mountain are major employers in this zip. The Collegeville Route 422 exit enables a direct route between King of Prussia and Reading. Just across rt. 29 and still in the completion stages is The Providence Town Center,  This shopping complex  features Wegmans, a variety of restaurants and meeting points including Starbucks, Panera, Champs, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, P.F. Chang, Olive Garden, Red Robin etc. plus The Movie Tavern.  There are many specialty stores including White and Black, Ann Taylor Loft, DSW, Dicks Sporting Goods, Best Buy and Home Goods making shopping, entertainment and dining out convenient and a destination for shoppers.  More restaurants and retail stores on the way!

There are open spaces as well as very urban areas in zip 19426. The Real Estate market offers townhomes, condos and single family homes. Currently, there are several new construction sites including those being completed by Toll Bros, Rotelle, Mazamuto and Lyon Homes.
